Mr. Freeze CC Build Description
The glory of Subzero Zenith is that he can freeze husks in place. All husks. Mist Monsters, husklings, you name it, he can freeze it. The text says the freeze is supposed to be 1.6 seconds but it seems more like 4 seconds and it can be chain crit to provide a permanent freeze solution.
The main parts of this build are the ability to critical hit. Which lies mostly in the weapon selection in this build. You will want to perk up your different weapons to 50%+ critical rate but no more than that. To amplify the weapons damage though we add some sniper damage perks with Preemptive Strike, Rabbit Raider Jonesy and Redline Ramirez. Once the husks are frozen, The Ice Queen's perk will contribute some extra damage as well.
The weapons we chose all have high fire rate and magazine size, with exception to the Blastotron. To compliment those weapons we added Liteshow Spitfire to increase the magazine size even further and Bullet Storm Jonesy to make the most of those extra bullets by adding increasing damage per shot. You can definitely play around with those slots if you like. Any of the heroes that add to your survivability would also be a good choice if you need extra help staying alive in high level content.
Weapon(s) Description
With our weapon choices we wanted high fire rate and high critical hit chance in the weapons. We also wanted a little variety. We are trying to achieve at least a 50% critical hit chanced in our weapon but we also have to keep in mind critical rating has major diminishing returns. Meaning the more we add, the less we get.
Vacuum Tube Sniper really stands out due to it's insanely high rate of fire and it's ability to add double critical rating perks to get it above 50% critical hit chance. It is basically a weapon from ghost busters that sustains a continuous stream of lightning as long as you hold down the trigger. Use this to mass freeze husks on a major level. It doesn't do a lot of damage though. This is for freezing.
A step up in damage but a step down in fire rate is the Crankshot. This is one of my personal favorite sniper rifles to use due to it being somewhat in the middle in both damage and fire rate. Not too low, not too high. It can get double critical rating and a crit damage boost, as well as adding affliction damage. It also can get above 50% crit hit chance.
Last but not least is a heavier sniper with a lower fire rate and much more damage behind it per shot. Use the Blastostron 9000 for the big boys. It has a unique 6th perk that adds critical rating per shot fired. If you only go with one critical rating perk on the weapon, you can add two critical damage perks. By the time the 7th shot is fired, you will have a 50% critical hit chance and will still have loads of shots left. Liteshow Spitefire helps us make the most out of the 6th perk.
A notable mention is the Neon Sniper Rifle which doesn't have enough space to list here. It can shoot through walls and has a unique advantage to other sniper rifles in the game. It can be very useful in certain situations like stormshield defenses.
