ED-EE

Admiral ED-EE as he was referred to, was a cast member of the fictional TV show Beyond the Stellar Horizon in the story. He was a real robot on the show but apparently he wasn't built to be an actor. He was originally built instead to keep deep space crews from killing each other. The team that developed ED-EE were fans of the show and gave the cast an ED-EE robot of their own.

As Conflict Resolution Officer of the Stellar Horizon he was originally programmed to see all sides of a situation and attempt to de-escalate situations instead of taking sides. Frustrated by his inability to take a side, the team eventually launches him into outer space where he gains a deeper appreciation for the nuances of life. There he learns to form his own opinions and make decisions all on his own.

He was originally available as part of four new heroes available in the Sci-Fi Llama set during Season 9. He came available in both Epic and Legendary editions.

ED-EEs main perk is to add a percentage of his shields to each one of his critical attacks. The ability to critical attack and having a high shield count are both imperative to getting the most out of your ED-EE builds. ED-EE adds 96% of his shield to an attack as your commander and 32% in a support slot.

With a maxed out character at PL131 with a full loadout of level 50 characters, my ED-EE has 110,611 shield and a 50%+ chance to critical hit with my hardware of choice. As a commander under ideal conditions that should add 106,215 damage to my weapon attack per critical hit. With 35,396 damage being added per hit as a support under those same conditions.

Goin' Constructor

Cost: 50.0
Cooldown: 100.0 seconds
Equip a hammer which deals physical damage per hit and a shield that reduces 95% damage from the front. Lasts 16 seconds.

Plasma Pulse

Cost: 40.0
Cooldown: 45.0 seconds
Deploys a device which spews plasma mines for 6 seconds. Each mine deals energy damage.

R.O.S.I.E.

Cost: 50.0
Cooldown: 180.0 seconds
Deploy a mountable turret which deals physical damage per shot and fires 7 shots per second. R.O.S.I.E. has 150 ammo.

B.A.S.E.

Place B.A.S.E. to reinforce attached structures with 60 Armor. Extends 4 segments from placement. Placed from trap wheel.

Kinetic Overload

Melee knockbacks and staggers trigger Kinetic Overload, dealing 25 base Energy Damage to nearby enemies. After melee critical hits, increases Melee Impact Damage by 10% for 5 seconds, up to 5 stacks.
