Loaded Cannon Cyberclops Description
One of the best heroes in the game and one of my favorites to use. This time we're going to give Cyberclops the Shotgun treatment. Our main objective is to go hard on damage. If you have trouble staying alive, as usual swap out on of the last heroes for a hero that specializes in survivability like Survivalist Jonesy, BombSquad Kyle, Prehistoric Izza, etc.
Our first two heroes contribute to Shotgun damage directly with Shotgun perks to base Damage and Critical Damage. Pre-Emptive Strike also gives us a lot of bang for our buck, no pun intended. Skull Trooper gives us additional damage temporarily after reloading. Rex Jonesy adds some more damage based off of your health. Since this is a shotgun build, the extra damage will be added to your shots regularly.
Chromium Ramirez is the wildcard here. As long as her support perk still gives us Reload Speed, she is worth keeping. If they ever patch that, I would take her out of this lineup. She is optional anyways. You could swap her out for anybody and not really feel much of a difference. You could easily go with a hero to increase your survivability.
Weapon(s) Description
To take advantage of Cyberclops bullet chaining, we are going to need energy based shotguns for this loadout. We are going to use crit based loadouts on our weapons for this build, to increase the damage that gets chained.
One of the best weapons to use with this loadout is the Pulsar 9000 with it's humongous radius per shot. It hits a lot of targets and can really do massive damage to husks. It is the ideal weapon to use for close quarters encounters. If you don't have access to that, the Woofer is a great weapon that functions very similarly. They both work great in a funnel.
For a really big boom with some impact behind it, you could go with the Stalwart Squire or the Double Boiler. Both weapons do significant damage but have low ammo capacity. Last but not least, if you're still operating in a funneled environment, the Helium Shotgun works beautiful as the bullets penetrate and can chain. With Affliction damage, the ticks of damage can also chain to other targets.
