Reclaimer Outlander

Fragment specialist who can charge their abilities by defeating enemies in combat.
Reclaimer Outlanders

Reclaimers are possibly the most lethal hero in all of Fortnite Save the World at the time of this writing. True to name, the Reclaimers stroll the lands reclaiming everything that comes in their path. Both souls and land a like.

They are capable of clearing an impressive amount of husks with powerful abilities such as Shock Tower and T.E.D.D.Y. They have one of the most powerful combination of perk sets in the game. As all perks contribute to their damage dealing abilities. Including a class defining perk that allows them to recover charges during battle. Anti-Material Charge makes a nice utility for dealing with swarming husks, against Riot Shield Husks, when you need the impact to disrupt a Mist Monster or for when just quest farming in general.

Reclaimers don't discriminate against husk type either. They are one of the few subclasses that are capable of annihilating any type of husk that gets in their way with ease. They are one of the few subclasses out there that can compete with just about any other build in the game, in terms of total damage output, when played skillfully. Although one could argue the learning curve is relatively small and can turn the game into a bit of an easy mode at times.

Overall

This is a hero with few flaws on paper and even those can be negated or are negligible. As of now, you won't find a better crowd clearing hero in the game. The Reclaimers leave a serious wake of carnage in their path and sometimes the overall combat numbers can be quite staggering. T.E.D.D.Y. is very strong at clearing husks all over nearby areas. Shock Tower is incredibly strong at annihilating clusters of husks. You couldn't ask for a much better combination of perks for their abilities either. As all seven of their perks contribute to buffing the damage output of their two main abilities.

The only thing they're really lacking is the mobility of some of the other Outlander subclasses and mobility in this game can be everything at times. Despite that, it doesn't hold them back from competing with any other class out there. It just changes the dynamics of the play style. It's not as easy to bail yourself out of a sticky situation when you lack the kind of mobility of a Phase Shift or Mantis Leap.

Sometimes a strong defense is having a strong offense and with Reclaimers this is the case. You will have to learn how to hunker down right down in the middle of the chaos to literally survive the storm at times in chaotic situations. Sometimes that means throwing down a T.E.D.D.Y. and using it as cover as it and a Shock Tower annihilate all of the foes swarming around you. Anti-Material Charge can help out in a pinch or when dealing with Riot Husky Husks.

If you're looking for a summoning class that is highly ability based in auto-abilities, the Reclaimer is one of the strongest choices in the game, if not the strongest one. You won't be as mobile as some of your counterparts but you will be just as effective, if not more, when the husks hit the fan.

Best Reclaimer Squad Bonus Synergies

What is a squad bonus synergy? It's that perfect combination of support bonus and tactical bonus that give your hero the edge in Fortnite. Some synergies are better than others. Some are meta. Some are niche. Some are just plain fun! Here are the best suggestions we could come up with for this hero class, in no particular order, for all different play styles.

Support Squad Bonus

Tactical Squad Bonus

Ability Damage

Grizzled Veteran

Increases all ability damage by 10%/15%/20%. Increases the duration of TEDDY by 5 seconds.

Requires: Outlander primary hero.
Best Synergies: The defacto setup to the Reclaimer class. T.E.D.D.Y. is an extremely strong ability by itself and more damage + duration just helps it become stronger.

Ability Damage

Shocking Embrace

Increases all ability damage by 10%/15%/20%. Increases the duration of Shock Tower by 2 seconds if placed with a Charge Fragment.

Requires: Outlander primary hero.
Best Synergies: Shock Tower typically annihilates most even power husks in it's current 3 second duration. With exception to Smashers. However, in some mission types and power levels Shock Tower will actually last the full 5 second duration when placed with a fragment and it will out damage your T.E.D.D.Y. during this time when placed in good position. Really useful for example when pushing the limits of an encampment mission beyond your current power level.

Ability Damage

Survivalist

Increases all ability damage by 10%/15%/20%. Killing an enemy with an ability or weapon recovers 3 base health per second over 3 seconds. Kills reset the healing duration. Will not activate on full health.
Best Synergies: Getting the most out of your abilities means sticking them in the best position. Sometimes that means right dead middle of the storm. Sometimes you just need to hunker down and let your abilities do the work while you hide behind cover. If staying alive after great placement is a concern, add this tactical modifier to get some healing back while your abilities slay husks for days.

*

Energized

Any

Increases Energy damage by 10%/15%/20%. Choose from several viable options!
Best Synergies: Allows you to get the additional benefit of extra energy damage on your weapons.
