Season 11 and the Future - Fortnite Save the World Season 10 Recap

Is this "The End"? Heading into Season 11, a lot of the player base seems to be restless. They want some end game content. They want more content period. The state of the game is that the game is better now than it's ever been but it's still an incomplete game that is missing pieces of it and parts of it are still pretty buggy.

The Locker is still being worked on. I expect we will see more parts of it get completed throughout Season 11 until it's fully done. Twine Peaks got a lot of updates in Season 10 but it is still missing it's storyline and quests. That's something to look forward to. Outer Space has been hinted as an option a lot since the inception of the game and even again recently in the new Canny Valley end trailer.

Speaking of quests, I'd love to see a redesign in the thought process for how they design them going forward. Less fetch quests and more varety. I think people really love those unique zones and maps. Having one or two of those per quest line is really cool. I would love to see more of those used in the future.

I REALLY hope we get a new Fortnitemares event this year. Hexsylvania needs one hell of an epic event tied to it, like Christmas has Frostnite. Something new, fun, challenging and rewarding. How cool would it be to defend a giant haunted castle or something of the like? This time of year is absolutely my favorite and I'd love to see a lot of new content for Fortnitemares 3.0. Including Hay Man and Straw Ops as playable characters.

The game really needs more villains in it. A lot more crazy cool extra-dimensional ones like the Storm King and relatable closer to home ones like Batman has the Joker. Truly epic villains that make sense. The story writing is a strength here. Sometimes villains are human, too. I'd love to see some new fresh faces.

New villains could mean new bosses. New bosses could mean end game encounters. Something bigger and more grandiose than the Vlad fight from last years Fortnitemares Event. Vlad and other boss fights should be more on the Storm King's level. I'd love to see a new zone, maybe on the other side of the rift, with nothing but boss fights. One after another. A full zone of fighting much like MMO's offer. Something raid worthy.

I'd also love to see more rewards through gameplay, which I'm sure are also coming. More cosmetic items. More everything. Including more accessibility to older items for newer players. Maybe a way to obtain vouchers in the future.

Season 11 is very close to being here and I'm super excited to get on with the show so we can see what is the next chapter in the Fortnite saga. Season 10 gave us Rad heroes and Boombox weapons. That was completely unexpected for me. What will Season 11 bring? We'll find out soon enough!
