The Locker was a huge and long overdue addition to Fortnite Save the World. Promising to bring over the entirety of the locker currently hosted within the Battle Royale mode. There are levels to everything in life and the Fortnite game has developed some of the highest quality skins and emotes of any game I've played to date.
It has an extensive and ever-growing collection of "cosmetic" only items that seem to be produced at an astouding rate. These cosmetic items are not to meant to give players any competitive advantages in game but do offer a lot of fun and variety to the game. They do cost "v-bucks" a currency within the game that can be earned in game or purchased with real money.
The locker port started off small without it's full catalogue of available features. It started off with Loading Screens, Music, and Emotes. As time has progressed it has expanded slowly into also including Pick Axes. Wraps as of this writing haven't made it into the game yet but everything seems to require some level of tweaks to fit within the game space. Surely they will continue to expand more until we've gotten the entire feature set.

The ability to express yourself with such a rich set of skins, wraps, and emotes is an amazing accomplishment for any game. To do so at this level is even more amazing in itself. The artwork has been pretty phenomenal on a lot of the items and once wraps make it into the game, they will just take the production level up another notch.
Most people assume porting something like the locker over from Battle Royale to be an easy task but obviously this is something that requires a lot of time and careful precision to do properly. The addition of what has already made it into the game has been absolutely huge.
Eventually what I would love to see is the addition of skins to Save the World with the ability to alter any character you choose as your Commander, to be any skin you choose to represent yourself with from your locker. That would probably be the ultimate way to express your own individuality within Save the World.
At the end of the day what I want Epic Games to remember is that some of us actually love Save the World. I want to make sure my proceeds generated by the game go towards its development. I want to be contributing directly to Save the World's continued development. As cool as Battle Royale and Creative Mode are. I hope they all continue to gain traction going forward but I want to pay homage to the game that got it all started, where its due.
