Farming Materials

Building your structures/objectives throughout the game will require building materials. The rest of the component materials will be needed to craft all of the hundreds of weapons and trap schematics that you can acquire in the game. Some are basic and can be found anywhere. Some are limited to only certain areas within the game.

Different objects yield different resources or materials. A tree may yield wood and some twine or a plank. A rock may yield some stone and some ore. A car may yield some metal, a mechanical part and/or some batteries.

Different map types have different types of objects located within them. City maps have lots of cars. Deserts have lots of rocks. Some maps have unique locations within them that can only be found in that specific map type. Like the hay maze found in Ghost Town maps.

Some materials come in different level ranges and are found in different level zones. They are needed to craft schematics within that level range. Stonewood, the beginning zone has level 1-10 materials and as you get to the upper parts of the zone, will start to drop some of the materials needed for the next zone Plankerton. The same thing will continue to happen in Plankerton and the remaining zones beyond.
